Hi there,

I understand that some of you have put rubber mats inside of the fenders to protect from rock and gravel deforming.

Can you guys share your best tricks, perhaps sizes and what material suits best for this?

Can I possible spray a protector inside of the fender?

Thanks, Al

I know a guy who used the same "Clear Mask" material used on front hoods to protect his newly painted fender wells.

I use old bathtub surround on mine. First set lasted over 8 years and that was with 22 miles of decomposed granite beating on it each day Shocked

Thats an excellent tip. How much of the fender walls did you cover?

If anyone throws away a few square feet of flat fiberglass panel- you can cut your own repops of the OG rear fender liners...

I covered about 24" from the bottom lip up. I found an old bug that had some on it and just used it for a pattern.

Why not spay inner fenders with truck bed liner if you are worried about dents from the inside out.
