Well, went and saw them last night, real fun show. Had to buy a CD, too bad the largest size shirt was XL, oh well. |

Yes, and no. I chatted with the lead singer (Wammo) briefly, but he was pretty out of it - oral surgery earlier in the day and a 2 hour show. _________________ VW-181 shirts and stickers.

They've done a couple of Christmas reunion shows here in Austin, where they invite the entire cast of bandmembers from over the years ( which includes some pretty heavyweight musicians) to rotate out on various songs from over the years. It's a great time. If your interested, look up Wammo's song "Beer", or "Hick Hop", which is a country/gangster rap fusion song! Also Stan Smith, the older "jazz cat" looking guy who plays clarinet has some great solo work, "Paint My Mailbox Blue" is a nice one. All around probably the most diverse band I've ever seen... |
