Been a little bit of a learning experience... and slowly coming together.. Broke a rear brake line, it was fragile and just snapped in my hands...
cleaned the floor....

New final gear 4.12 no redux - cant wait to test drive it...

Looks like that line was due to be replaced anyway. You should replace all of them.

Fixed the blue lens too... Cant wait to see it tonight... Cleaned the inside of the speedo too... It was pretty easy to take apart...


Great job on the bus, I have one question, my generator light (Red) is on the left side and oil (Green) is on the right
do I need to switch them?

no - I have them in backwards... My oil light is red and gen is green... They were both brown when I got the bus, I musta switched 'em when I took the speedo apart.... I have seen the red one blink after a hard run and then idling when its 100 degrees out.. my bad.. It's a jersey thing Smile

3.5" Drop... 2.5K at 55 - Love the new gears... Glad I did not go taller... This seems about perfect... Can actually do 55 in third.. Cool

Now sitting about 4" lower... Taller gears, really starting to feel like a highway machine...

changes made:

2161 engine
4.12 straight axle
flipped spindles
dual master for brakes
third brake light
safari's
snazzy horn button
paint

Here she is with the new gears...88848 on the odo.... 300 mile trip last weekend to break her in... I love no redux...
