OK, I think I had too much coffee yesterday, or something, and was thinking about this way too much. But, I am just not sure if I really missed something huge. Or not... Rolling Eyes

I'm really kinda embarrassed to ask this. But, did I miss a step in my full flow?

My motor is set up just like this one:

So, between the two fittings, is a plug. On my oil pump and case, I didn't plug the two as done typically on a Type 1.

So, did I do my full-flow correct? Or did I make a big mistake??? Embarassed

I'm so confused today... All the codeine in my cough syrup has me in a stupor... Laughing

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.

The way your case is tapped for the fitting, with a plug between them, you do not want to plug the pump, or the plug in the case at the pump.
You just use an standard pump. The oil goes up through the normal passage, to the first fitting, through the filter, and back from the filter to the second fitting.

The only time you plug the pump and case like yours, is fi you have a Berg style pump, with the fitting in the cover.

Laughing OK, I thought I understood everything, and did it correctly.

I'm using a regular pump with the normal passages. Whew... I was seriously thinking I lost my mind.

Thanks Russ!!

I think he is saying that he did not plug the pump and case.

In which case it is correct.

Is this the proper berg cover for the T3 that will squeeze under the fan?

This is what I used on my motor. My builder then used some brass fittings that I replaced with A/N fittings when I got the motor back. You will have to do some minor grinding on the back of the fan housing but nothing drastic.

I use the pressure relief version myself.
