Dam brah that blows. I have a 59 alpine white DC that Im still restoring here in O.C and all my boys know about my ride. So Ill let all my family know about yours and believe me if it rolls through O.C to Diego they are UCKED.

I'll say it again... the more attention given this theft (publicly at least), the less chance of it surfacing. As a whole, or as parts... especially at high profile samba-member attended events/swaps such as pomona.  |

I'm sorry, But I cann't keep quiet. Lets talk about this. I have another school of thought, As far as I'm concerned, There is not enough people that know about this thief. He can only set on this truck before someone is going to see it. Hell 1000.00 reward isn't chump change in my book, I'll throw in 50.00 to buy the bullets to shoot this SOB when there caught. |

| I agree that everyone should know about, and keep eyes peeled for this thief and the dc/parts, of course!. My point is, I don't expect to see the gates at pomona, etc. because I'm sure the thief knows the community at large is on alert. |

You are assuming certain things, one, that the dumbass can read. Most criminals are dumber than rocks, that's why they are criminals because they can't do anything else with their useless selves. Two, that he would have sense to not take it out in public because he might get caught. Don;t you know that nearly all criminals think they will never get caught? See item number one; these people are pin headed idiots. They usually commit crime after crime until they eventually get caught. You watch. This scumbag will eventually emerge from the primordial ooze to sell something . |

I hate to say this but it would be my guess that is is on a long and dusty trail heading south with a different set of plates to end up in South America.

Not everyone is bad and by keeping this in peoples faces that one good person might overhear someone talking about how they stole a DC from Lake Havasu and pass the word on.
Remember it took a couple months before Hot Dog Freds bus was found by someone driving by.
