1970 Bug. Mounted on the rear most part of the driver side floorpan next to the rear crossmember. I also have one wire which is disconnected and am wondering if it went to this relay. It is a fused wire half red and half black that comes from the regulator.
Here is a pic of the relay...
Here is pic of wire from regulator. It is the fused wire zip-tied to the heater tube.

That's what I thought. My club's guru says it is most likely an old headlight dimmer relay, part # 111-963-141B. I am unsure. |

Glenn is correct, 111963141B is the rear window defroster relay. Second clue is it's under the backseat. Now you are the Guru. _________________ Bobby

The bitter taste of poor quality lingers long after the joy of the cheap price fades away. |

Here's the wiring on my '74 sedan. The black wire at left is a replacement...I think it's supposed to be white, to one end of the grid...I marked it with tape but it's under the back seat at the moment...the blue/white wire is to the computer socket, which is useless and non-existent on your '70.
