Take away the cars that have been sold and it is not that many. I don't understand why folks list cars they no longer own in their sig lines. Rolling Eyes

well just so your aware, its like a child screaming "look at me" "im somebody.....see?"

1 or 2 cars is somewhat tolerable but the marathon lists and especially leaving the sold ones on the list screams ...................some funny stuff

i think having cars in the sig line opens up some positive dialog (not exactly the type of dialog going on here) i once contacted a guy about 5 years ago about a ghia he had in his sig line. He was close by and it was a year ghia that i was looking for. He had no interest in selling, but once we started emailing back and forth a deal was struck and i owned that ghia for about four years. Just a nice behind the scene deal in a way. I like seeing peoples cars in their sig line personally. I agree that some do get out of hand and do have a kind "look at me" status. I also think that if you no longer own it, it should not appear in your sig line.

we should all get along fine, so heres a solution. If they are sold and long gone, delete which I am. If you still have it or it's near by and rarer one keep it posted. For example, I've sold a couple 21 windows/double cabs to buddies that do like them however could be bought. I love to see someone in my general area and see what they have or know of around

just a thought

I only list the one that's complete and running. The other is waiting for me to get to it.

You know you can turn them off, right?

Just go to the Control Panel and shut them off, and you'll never be bothered by them again.

All right! Good to hear! You finally got a Bay.

There was a guy around here that listed all his cars and most of them he listed as 1 owner. Funny thing was that the cars were older than he is.

dead, sold, or non-vw should be listed on a post-it note on your computer desk... wanted ads should be posted in the wanted section, then folks can click on your "ads" button to see them... my opinion, of course... Wink

i reserve my signature for something important or funny... at least funny to me... Laughing
