Hey thanks guys for the positive comments.

I took it for a ride today to break in the motor. I haven't been able to drive it since I got it home due to the weather and no windshield wipers. Anyways, it's running sweet!

She actually doesnt want me to sell it...thus the high price. Go figure. I think I should be OK, but its stressful at the moment cash wise. Hopefully a good month at work will fix all of that!

Congrats on the engagement. Sucks you have to sell the truck but hopefully things will work out and you won't have to. Wish I had the money to buy it, I could use a lot of those parts Wink .

Looking forward to seeing it....check!

I did not sell mine! After I posted the add, I got really busy at work and made enough to pay off my bills and my wedding. Keeping her for now. She is sad though and has not moved from my garage in months. I do plan on doing my wheels, interior and possibly the bumpers come spring time.

I tried to talk the wife in letting me buy yours so I could exchange parts. Basically I got the, "why the hell do you want the same truck" comment. I know what you mean by sitting in the garage for long periods of time, I just hit my 300 mile mark yesterday so I can finally change the oil and adjust the valves.

Need to get my gates repaired, badly! Purchased the repair panels from a guy here on the samba about 6 months ago. Decided to pull them out and see how they fit and they were a little short. Guess I should have checked that 6 months ago. Brick wall Need to find the ad again and see if these repair pieces are for a double cab or what. Anyways here's a couple of pics I took.

please post a link to the ad if you find it. I was looking for something like that to repair sections of my gates but couldn't find any thing at the time. I bought a used set of gates but would still like to repair the old ones to use as beaters when I haul crap around. Maybe what you got are just repair sections and not replacement panels???
