It looks as though you have to buy a third one and cut in half to repair both gates _________________ Somewhere there is a jar with your name on it!

Yeah this is it. I received three pieces so it should be enough for the two side gates. Luckily my back gate is in pretty good shape. For some dumb reason I thought the three pieces were for all three gates. I emailed the guy just to make sure this was correct. The guy was super cool and easy to work with when I dealt with him before so Im sure he'll be able to provide what info I need. |

So Rich emailed back and informed me that the three sections I received were for the two side gates (1 1/2 per gate). He also said there's a way to do it so there is no seam which would be cool. |

I have a couple questions, hopefully someone could answer. I decided that I am going to have my fuchs redone and have disc brakes put on as well. So until then, I decided Im going to roll with the original rims. I know someone that does powder coating and thought that I would have my rims and hubcaps powder coated. I looked through some of the topics and some say to powder coat the rims without the hubcap clips on, just curious why?
Another question I have is with the stock rims, I will be running 165/50 in front and 195/60 in the rear, am I going to need spacers, for the front and/or the rear and where can I get them if needed? |

I love single cabs. So did your 63 have the funky brake parts? My 63 sc had the small king pins and large brakes up front and the one year only large drum with small splines in the back. Made it nice for puting the stock brakes on the beetle IRS tho.
Are those 15" raders or 17" escras? Nice choice! love those wheels but don't have the $$$ yet. _________________ My collection:

Looks killer. I bet it's a blast to roll. _________________ BarryL wrote:

If my truck had this sweet patina, I'd roll it as is too. Looks good. |

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I still have a few things I want to get for it like a hoop set, roof rack, etc. I just got the rear bumper which is a patina bumper so now I need to find a front one to match. I am also considering a chrome emblem for the front to match the rims, IDK, just a few thoughts... |

165/50/15's up front and 205/60/15's on the rear. I think next set of rear tires will be 195/60/15's. |
