Round 2

Something small has happened.
Maybe before new year it will drop with flick of a switch.

Everything front end is removed.

My new axle will be with needle bearings.
Next time when I will go to garage, I'll start doing Jig for the axle.

There can be 2cm's cut from front axle, so maybe I could take 1cm...
Then it will be against front apron Very Happy

Lets hope that, lower control arm will get clearance with new ball joint.
Thank god that, I buyed 7.5cm drop spindles. With them control arm are in better angle. And with stock spindles
it could not be that low.

Now 8x15 offset 11 front wheels are bit too out, because drop spindles increase track 8.5mm.
So I'm re-building them with "zero lip-style" aka center-outer lip-inner lip. But with lip. You know what I mean. So the offset will be ~21
Hmm... rear ones gonna have same thing done, maybe with that, there might be clearance to get 9x15 offset ~10 instead of 8.5x15 offset 0

I absolutely love the pictures and those wheels! I am thinking about putting RSs or LMs (BBS) on my Squareback, and this confirms it. Those look ill!

Now rear end has bag in drivers side too.
Maybe rear end drops bit more when other side is finished.
Now I need few weeks of vacation from this vehicle....
