Last night I had been reading about head tins and noticed that the small tin pieces on my heads are missing and trying to find these pieces are impossible.

So while I was making pasta for dinner last night it came to me.

I got a set of those from a guy at Rimco who pulled them off a set of junk heads. They are not that difficult to make either. I have read here about guys who just cut their own out of sheet metal. Funny how a silly little piece of metal has importance on these motors.

I make them where I work, I make them out of stainless steel. Do you want them with or with out the slots, They are $6.00 a pair
the under cylinder air deflectors are $12.00 flat or $15.00 If I brake them to shape

You know Casey, those are great tins but yesterday I was busy working on cleaning my tins and finishing up on putting the long block together that I didn't get to the computer until this morning to see your post and now the whole long block is complete.
I will keep you in mind for my next one though. I'm gonna build me a back up engine for my bug.

Now, if only you could CNC manifolds for my Webers to clear my tins.
There would be a market for that work. Just take the one that come with the kit and shave off just enough to clear so we don't have to butcher up the tins.

Hit me up in a couple of months and hopefully the machine will be back up and running, I am also going to be making "Industrial tins" in stainless as well.
