Very interesting-never seen that before. Looks like the Toyota KdF '42 possibly started life as body #17 and then got re-stamped as #150 for some reason. |

Also a very interesting Detail are the taillights of the beautyful 1948 beetle from switzerland in the Bad Camberg Pictures from 1948. They have White lenses which is typical for the 1948 Swiss Edition of the beetle. They were produced in a Time when Hella was not able to deliver red glasses for the taillights.
Back to the 1942: This car has never been seen in public, when "Mr. Toyota" wanted to have that car as a present. This was in the early 1990s, when Volkswagen and Toyota made the contract to produce the Taro Pick-up. |
