Wow..is that original paint? I like horizon blue now. I didnt at first either, but my oval is originally horizon blue and I couldnt bring myself to change it.

Hmmm im going to disagree there. I think the BRM's one best looking things to put on a oval. I want to put some BRM's on my horizion blue oval.

Just my opinion though.

Don't get me wrong, I like BRMs but I like them better on the bigger back windowed Beetles. With Ovals, I am partial to the two toned smoothies as the oval window, and the OG colors of those cars, scream to me 1950's. For that look to be complete, a set of white wall bias plys surrounding a two tone rim... Ooo la la!

OH my bug is horizion blue. no smoothies on it thought just 5 spoke empi nock offs on it (well no wheels on in it in this picture) . I'm hoping t to get some BRM's on it eventually like your's. Cause yours looks so bad A$$ with BRM's Rolling Eyes (well ok not just cause of your bug)
