I know these two were both barndoors before the Work was done but I think they should be included in here as they are imitations.
Before anyone says, yes I know tons of kombi's have been made from panelvans and some kombi's into panels. But this is different, requiring some serious surgery.

I think you're wrong on that 1951. I believe it might actually have started out as a 1954 Deluxe that has a 1951 Kombi VIN tag in it and then a bunch of earlier parts were put on it to make it look like a 1951 Deluxe. _________________ Please check us out on Instagram at @holygrailgarage

Quite probably, I was simply looking at the vin tag. Swapping vins sounds very illegal? And a bit messed up. |

Almost 18K Euro, and... of course, the reserved price wasn't met. |

That one was for sale on samba and craigslist for awhile I believe in Sarasota or Tampa/St. Pete 6 months ago. The owner I think was asking 6k? It did not have the light on top in the original pics posted with the ad. It also had some stencing on the doors that looks to have been primered back over. It was in that color primer when first posted. |

That "Roof Beak" looks like it needs a little Rhinoplasty. It looks like it goes up straight too far before it starts it curve back into the roof. |
