Anyone have the pic or pics of the guy in the white bug kissing the girl in the red bug. I found one with just old bugs but I was wanting to find the one with the boy in a white bug and girl in the red beetle. I think it was on the back of a magazine or something. Thanks.

Yes, she was in a red New Beetle and he in a white early sixties sedan.
It was on the front cover of a Rocky Mountain Motorworks catalog and I believe they also used the image in ads on the back cover of VW Trends and Hot VWs.

The ad copy from 1974:

"Now you can own your very own Love Bug, from Volkswagen.
The Love Bug comes in two romantic colors. Red hot red. And luscious lime green.
It has lovely racing type wheels.
And cute black trim.
But at only $2499*, we can't afford to be too generous.
So if you want one, you'd better hurry. A love like this won't last forever."

My wife is the owner of the 63 in the photo. At the time the photo was taken, the car belonged to a guy that worked at RMMW and we purchased it from him. I have a copy of the catalog with the Beetles on the cover as well as a couple of poster size prints.
I got the posters from OE Vee Dub in Lake George a few years ago. They had a stack of them, maybe they still have some left.

Interesting. My son worked at Motorworks at the time and said that the couple in the cars were professional models. Well, some guy called up raising all sorts of hell because he was sure that the girl in the photo was his wife and she must be cheating on him, etc, etc, etc. and RMM was going to be very sorry that they ever printed that.
