Living on the coast in the south, I've come to appreciate the L87 color. Even on the hottest summer days, the bus stays pretty cool.

If that were an early 63 that would be my wallpaper. Great looking bus.

Thanks for the feedback Everett and Erik.
I was a little concerned after looking at this thread.
For Instance, the paint in the can looks to have the tan hue to it, but once on a paint stick or card it has more of a grey look.
It looks a lot like the DC below.

But not a lot like this one in another thread (The Bus that had me stay with original paint color as I think it looks amazing.)

But Like I said, after giving the guy the code and seeing it in the shop I thought it looked right so 2 gallons will go on the bus unless it looks terrible when I spray the engine compartment.

What kind of wheels are on that bus by the 76 station
Let's see more pictures of that one!

Aussie Built High Top, no rear vents

The roof sits higher as it has a second ''higher '' roof skin over the original

Also comes over the front of screens more, this allows vents above screen

Air flows in the vents over original roof skin, down a special bulkhead again double wall rear window, into a 1meter wide duct that runs underneath the load bay feeding cool air to motor

Very ingenious and allows a smooth rear end and plenty of air flow to the motor
