Make sure you have the required free play at the brake pedal, otherwise the master cylinder doesn't return to its resting position and let off the pressure. _________________ 1958 Karmann Ghia owner |

Check the seals around the wheel cylinders, make sure they are fresh. When things take a long time to release, it (from my experience only) is usually the piston or "actuating mechanism" is crudded up, warped or old. or all 3. If you had to mash on them pretty hard, it could have busted an old dry rotted seal.
If they are new cylinders, new lines, and other new stuff, check for air. |

was slow on getting back found a few things while checking everything out including a exploded inner wheel bearing.. Guess thats what i get for trying to drive a old car home 2 hrs Lol
Anyways it is defiantly a wheel cylinder problem both are getting replace boots on one are toast. Also upgrading to Stainless lines.. and will look in to the adjustment on the pedal.
