Raul, Just heard from Gary and he said he had talked with you and it looks like you've got truck buds with you that can get you home with a dolly. That's cool Very Happy
So when you're busted down do you kick back with your entertainment center, microwave meals and enjoy the hot tub? Laughing

What's that quote in your sig line?

Makes a broken clutch cable look like not a big thing.

it means that i have put 16k miles on the eng in the last year
& during those 16k
the bus is either going 70-85 mph
or hualing a heavy load with a trailer at 60mph
without a problem
last year the load i was hualling was so heavy the tranny gave out before
the type-4 engine Laughing

with the fuel injection & hydrollic lifters its practically
maintance free compared to ......

after taking a closer look at the engine today
it looks like the cork gasket on oil breather got blown out

hopefully that is what spread the oil all over the eng compartment
& causing the white smoke

I'm kinda vague on what's going on, but ...

oil from the breather tower would have a hard time getting on the really hot stuff below the tin to make smoke.

Usually the only thing that makes a considerable amount of smoke, oil leak related is improperly put on head covers leaking onto the heater boxes.

More likely you've burned a valve. Someone said that if you (first adjust the valves right) drive it for 100 miles or so, it can re-seat itself. -just a guess though about that

If the seal blew out it might have because of higher than normal breather pressure. Not sure what could cause that except internal engine wear/damage like a bad ring maybe...
