I know its not what you are looking for but I held mine on with the eyelids on top and a washer on the bottom screw.

The tabs mount to the headlight ring retaining screws and the the guard clips on

that's what i was thinking. Idea i'll have to pop the headlights out and try and figure this out.

Depending on your headlamp cradle, you may have to drill holes for it around the mounting tabs. I ran into this with my 64. It depends on the cradle you have. I'll take pictures and post them.

there should be a diagram
the guard is held in by the edge curve in the metal holdres

take your chrome ring off (not the one that HOLDS the light)

and they bolt in to where the screws hold the chrome to hold the light in

the angle of the metal with the hole faces away from the light

the way they fit
they arent even
and they will mount the same direction on both lights


they look good if they Fit the car
and when your low like me it hewlps with all the crap thrown up from truck tires...
