regarding this comment above- you know your union dues are supporting some fatass union bosses that don't do a damn thing all day long except sport fish. that can't feel good.

You should see the UAW "Training Center" in Northern Michigan. On a lake, it's nice than the hotels up here. Guess how many union rank and file get to hang out there?
In Michigan you can tell the union officials by their brand new Caddy's.

Been there, any member can go.. Yes you are right, corruption comes when there is money involved. I went to work there in 93, 2 hours a month union dues, times 5000 people at our plant or about 1/4 mil a month... No strikes no need for anything... Now 200 months later thats 50 mil... Where the hell is it? Invested in high risk high return stocks that all went tits up... Should have been in the bank for troubled times...
I do not like or dislike unions. They were necessary once, they will be necessary again.. I remember when the union of the states meant something as well...
I like star trek - no money... replicators.. Gee, I guess that makes me a dork doesn't it

2 hours? that's five percent of a 40 hour work week. nobody takes a piece of my pie that doesn't take a piece of every other working persons pie.
