Luckily for YOU that you can reference your tape measure to find out what the

Brilliant! I may do this for my Syncro and post it up since I have half the measurements already. I'm doing a custom kitchen, keeping it a tin-top and a full-width bed, so those measurements might be helpful for others with similar plans in mind.

These dimensions were posted in the Weekender kitchen thread but thought it would be helpful to have them here as well.

This is an 86 Multivan (weekender) Left rear side cabinet Dimensions.........

I have heard that the newer grey / gray ? interior has the rear seat angle different from the brown/beige interior.
Not sure if this is true...... but if it is....... Is the Weekender cabinet size different?

Here is what I have.........

Not very high tech but masking tape and a Sharpie work!

Overall length........ 32 3/4".......
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Overall height to shelf bottom...... 33 1/2" ....... From lower engine cover rib.......
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Overall depth....... 14 3/4" ........
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

View of angle and fit into the rear. The cabinet fits snug against the metal upright and the breaks and follows the lid angle holding back a consistent distance..........
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

The top intersection ...........

Difficult one....... The angles and cuts of the bottom.
The front is flush to the metal floor for 6",
The rear is parallel with the floor for 7 1/2" until the radius begins, this is 3 3/4" above the lower rib of the engine cover.
The gradual angle starts at the 6" mark from the front and runs for 17 1/4" ending 2 1/4" above the floor where the radius begins.......
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

The small door is 6 1/4" x 16 1/4" .............
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

The large door is 19" x 24 1/2" ..........
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

If you need any other views or dimensions..... Let me know.

Looking for clarification on the upper bunk measurement, I'm away from my van right now. How much space is left over for storage behind the folded bit when the upper bunk is folded?

Does someone have an upper rear cabinet they can measure and post in this thread? Length, height, top and bottom width, etc.

I'd like to get enough detail to be able to draft the cabinet with dimensions in Catia. I've got an idea for a cabinet i'd like to build for my Syncro but I've got no idea what the original is dimensions are. I can share my model to anyone that wants it.

Thank you!

OK- how about the weight of various models-- tin top, weekender, and full Westy. And a Syncro-- at least one version, to compare. Maybe empty of fuel and no water in tank if it has the Westy style fresh water tank. Wheels-- I son't know-- the original alloys I guess.

The Dometic is 9" deep? I never thought about that. No wonder it's completely useless.

What a fantastic resource!

I would love to try and replicate the rear cabinet and headknocker, is the height you show for the closet, to the top of the cabinet or to the bottom of the headknocker cabinet?

Do you have interior measurements?

Does anyone happen to know the height of a 1984 Camper? Wanting to know if it'll fit in my garage.

I can't seem to find an owner's manual online. Brand new at trying to figure this out. Thank you
