I got a call from a friend last week. He wanted me to go to his camp and get his 68 autostick vert running properly. This is a well restored car that someone got thier hands into that should not have. In return he offered me a 72 Super and the parts he had to restore it. I really had no idea what it would take to fix his car or just what he had to offer. It turned out his 68 needed points, fuel pump {inlet fitting falling out}, fuel hose to carb, accel pump nozzle, correct the firing order, set timing and adj carb.

In return I received this very solid 72.

Had to rob the pump to fix his car.

Now for the best part of all. All of these parts came with it. plus more.

Wow! He GAVE this to you? some friend, wish I had a half dozen buddies like that.....I'll take the dash pad and strut cartridges off your hands for ya?....LOL good luck with it, I luv my '72, last year flat windshield....BTW, that genie is rotated 90 degrees to the left, the wire terms should be to the right of center so the rear cooling slot lines up with the opening in the fan base plate....

Thanks for the tip on the genny. It is next in line for restoration after I finish my 68 Ghia. This brings my collection to 12.
