I spent part of the morning putting all the plumbing back for the stock pressurized windshield washer system. I had the lines already in the switch so it was just a matter of connecting the water hose to the T for the spigots on the front cowl and the line down to the tank. Add water and air.
Worked as it should.

I was able to start cleaning up the wiring, pull the dash together, tweak a few things here and there and clean the mess in the front. I finished it off by installing the original kick panels. One of the perishable, usually beat to shit - replaced with varying choices of materials and or carpet that are a testament to how nice this bus was when I got it.
Next will be putting in all the ducting, putting the dash back on, grab handle and glove box.

Yeah, when you get the og squirters to work, you aint messing around
I think Ill get the doors finished. I need to transplant the vinyl from an og panel to a new repop card. The bottom of the original is gone from moisture. Then put on some vapor barrier and close them up. Then hit up the dash. _________________

Looking good, my man.
Now all you need is a Captain Kangaroo haircut, mustache, and sideburns, aviator glasses, an avacado green leisure suit, and a disco ball.
Oh, and this on continual loop on your woodgrain face Krako in dash AM FM 8 track:

So this little sweetheart ding was done by me back in 2018. Not closing the slider right. Pissed me off to no end to bee the ass-hat that chipped the bus first, and good.
Gary - aeromech hooked me up with his guy - Marco. Mobil fix it paint guy. I tell you what. He came to me, made a killer match, and was inexpensive. He blew this out in like an hour-hour and a half maybe. Super happy to pretend it never happened.
Big thanks to Stuart - he stuck around for me and popped off the slider while he was dinking on the white bus - it now has a tuned engine. Auto trans issues next.

Sooo. Been having fun with the transmission not engaging. Motor runs great, but the Auto won't go into gear. I think that's fixed at this point but we had to pull the trans to fix it. While it's out, I'll clean her up, put her back and cross my fingers.
In the meantime, I did some more foofoo work. The OG door panel had a dry roted bottom. So I pulled off the old vinyl and replaced it with a new pressboard backer. Only mod is to cut the fresh air slots in.
Looking good now
