I figured I would start a thread on the progress of the 54 single cab. It is on its way back to a nice coat of Dove Blue.

I know Bubba! I was hoping to get it to the classic but as always they require more attention then you expect. Thats alright though it is getting done right, no corners are being cut. To be honest I was really enjoying the bare metal look, it definately turned a lot of heads and was unique. But I think that this one deserves to get a nice Dove Blue paint. It was already so far along in the restoration process that I figured it needs to be done up back in original colors. Besides the rust was begining to form underneath the clear coat in spots and I live near the coast.

When I find a 54 non deluxe speedo in this good of shape, I will buy it and install it! Anyone out there have one? How about a floormat sema switch, wiper set up, rearview mirror, etc.....

I know dude! I actually started on it on Valentines day hoping to get it there. My new goal is Solvang. I might have to just take my fatchick 21window to the Classics.

Went out to the ranch today to take a peek at this monster wow this 54 truck is gunna be very nice when its done. Fully sandblasted metal prepped and all the detachables are primed ready to shoot. The gates are simply amazing Devin.
