|
|
Ok so I searched through some of the threads and didn't find what I was looking for...
My question is this: What are the best spark plugs to use for a 1.9? I did the top end rebuild and now I need some spark plugs, but wanted to know what other people liked/used?
Also forgot to mention when I pulled the cylinder sleeves out about a week ago that whoever went into the engine before me (if they did because it looked factory, but you never know) had installed the sleeves the wrong way. OY!!! _________________ 85 Westfalia

NGK BP6ET.
How were the sleves in wrong? The tabs turned around? Not sure they would fit that way, but it wouldn't matter, really. _________________ Shop for unique Vanagon accessories at the Vanistan shop:

Tencent thanks for the info on the plugs.
Yes the tabs were facing up and down instead of left and right. So the tabs that should be facing inward were facing down and vice versa... Just thought it was strange. _________________ 85 Westfalia
