Hey has anybody narrowed a 17x7inch escra down to a 17x5.5? Is it possible or NOT just need more clearance in the front end...

what are you trying to acomplish?You need a narrowed beam and spacers.Some details about your car would help

4.5inch narrowed beam with shocks check! Tubs in the front end check! Airkewld bad brakes! Will scrub on the lip of the guard on full lock as the car is slammed not bagged...

This one is 5inch wide, process in JAPAN! 165/40/17inch in front, nice fitting!! NO cutting in both front fenders. Laughing

Will scrub on the lip of the fender! Can these rims be cut down to 5inch and be welded???

No tubs and No scrub on the lip of the fenders but lil expand inner fenders...
