Poptop tent screws

Can someone tell me the size of the screws the are used to attach the metal strip to the body that holds the tent to the Body?
I am thinking about using one these, do you think they will work?

I got a box of zinc screws from HD. Counter sunk, flat heads, but the oval heads would’ve been a little better. #6-3/4” for the top was perfect. #4-1/2” for the bottom worked good, but maybe the 5/8” might have been better.
