Guys, I just went to DBA as part of my normal morning rounds on my iPhone and got a screen that says the site expired. I'm not sure what's going on but if they need a little cash support I'm in. I think that site is was to valuable of a resource to let go. It's a major help to the first timer or the "lifers" trying to ID the latest find. _________________ www.LoCashRacing.org

My boss told me I need to work on my mutli-tasking. So now when I use the bathroom at work I surf The Samba on my iPhone. |

I'm getting "server not found"... Maybe site is just taken offline for maintenance or updates... Sever not found is typical for sites in maintenance mode IF site provider does not have message screen explaining situation...

The 2 head guys are John (247VWS) and Bart (GlassBuggy). I have sent PMs offering support to both and I encourage others to do the same.
I'm offering to contribute $50 towards DBA operating costs and if some of my stuff in the classifieds sells, I'll raise that amount.
While the kit car & dune buggy forum here at The Samba sees a LOT of traffic, I really think DBA is far to valuable of a resource to vanish. It represents thousands of hours of research and work that is priceless to buggy builders trying to answer the question of "what do I have and where did it come from?". If we want to see DBA stick around, this may be a moment when we need to step up. _________________ www.LoCashRacing.org

I agree Lo cash. DBA was one of my first two resources I used 10 years ago or more. I am willing to help out. _________________ My wife said I never listen to her.

That was the first VW forum I joined and it has always been like home for me. If John or Paul need some help, I too am all in. A great resource for sure. Traffic has been kind of slow there for a year or so and this isn't the first time I have seen the domain name expire.
Just let us know if there is somehting we can help with.
