Had to put the splash pan back in the front, but not after a quick clean, rattle can, redneck, shade tree mechanic redoo.

I was able to finish the actual box. No stereo internals yet. But I wanted to see how it fit & looked? Kinda big, but the only dimensions I embellished were making it square as opposed to the original rectangle. I tried to make it looks like it belongs. As it sits, it could pass for OG, no?

Pails? What pails?
I actually just put them in there for a size reference.
I think a dollar bill would have been lost. _________________

Yes they are. I had a deluxe box that was trash, beat up. I saved the T molding. Had them stored for a couple of years. _________________

Here is some real data on aftermarket parts.
The first pic is from when I bought new seat covers for the bus - aftermarket late yellow plaid, not OG Westfalia stuff. I covered the center buddy bucket box with OG westy stuff.
In this pic below is one year later - in Seattle "Sun" Fading already.
Now in these series of pics below you can see a stark difference today. The Front seats are very washed out, Im sure due in part to genuine San Diego Sun. The big-box I just made is OG top bunk - never seen the Sun Westfalia material and the little buddy box with OG material from April 2012.
I have aftermarket green vinyl and enough OG Westfalia material to do the front seats, someday.

Latest goings on with the Westfalia Box - Speaker Booming thingy Im building.
All holes for the speakers and ports are cut, the R&L side separated, the lid for the top to close in the speakers is done. All that's left is to get some sore of external plug quick release for the +&- and a male fitting for the blue tooth gig thingy.
