Hello, I have searched and searched and hope someone can help me does anyone know the float level on ICT's with a plastic float. When I got them they came with instructions saying 36mm for a plastic float. This is not even possible as I can tell. I seen in my searches others have had the same question yet no answer. any help much appreciated

| Are you sure it says 36 or is it 3.6 or is it 3-6 ? |

it says 36 however I have considered the other two and they dont make sense either. 3.6 would be really close, dont even know if it is possible so 3 would definitly be wrong. I am stumped

thats overall float swing (if i remember correctly) you want 6.5mm, with gasket on the carb top, but NOT compressing the ball in the needle. 6mm will work just fine.....

set the float with it vertical. This will allow you to see when it touchs the needle but doesn't load it. You can tilt it in either direction to load and unload which makes it easy to see where the top of the float is.

I found this on a MG forum.
13 mm open 6.5 mm closed - you measure the drop open to 13 mm and then closed to 6.5 mm.

Here is what i think has happened. Someone read 13/6.5 as 1 inch and 3/7th which is 1.428 inches which is 36mm. Instead the factory was giving you open 13mm and closed 6.5mm settings.
