Used the same on my aftermarket condenser.

Just make sure the outlet are in the same spot as the old.

Looks like the ports should be on the correct spot, larger on the top and smaller on the bottom...

Im in the market for a replacement condenser for my 86 westy full camper.

Currently the condenser attaches to the radiator (which Im also replacing) and will be replacing the ac hoses leading to and from the condenser.

For my situation which size from nostalgic air would be desireable? (I can wait for the proper size)

Does it attach to the van or attach back onto the radiator?

Any insight would be appreciated.

I (and others) went with the 16x22, mostly on the theory that bigger is better.

You may find this thread useful as the person who did my A/C work had a simple but elegant way of attaching the lower corners of the condensor:

Thanks for the link Alwahnee, explained a lot.

My current condensor has the fittings on the side, but to be safe when I make up the new hoses I may add an inch or two after I measure out the distances.

Looks like you put the condenser in first, then radiator/shroud/fan second. is this hard to maneuver or is there reasonable room to do it this way?

Hey Folks,

It looks like the links to the recommended condenser no longer work. Also, it looks like the same condenser that GoWesty uses in their kit (https://www.gowesty.com/product/air-conditioning/24380/high-efficiency-a-c-condenser-). Sadly they are out of stock. Does anyone have any recommendations for condensers that are currently available?

I just ordered one from nostalgic air last week.
I have it here in my hands.

This is the one? https://nostalgicac.com/16-x-22-superflow-r-134a-condenser.html

If so, has anyone confirmed that Redtek works with this one?

I have used this unit with redtek, as have many others.....

It should be noted that NostalgicAir's website is hit or miss right now, best to call to order.

Does anyone know where to get the 16x22 condenser in Canada? Shipping from Nostalgic Air is more expensive than the part itself, and I'm striking out on ebay.

Wouldn't 26" be too wide? Or does that not matter?
