It's a copy and NOT the original. Info so far..........

I had it made professionally in the lower mainland here ... the mould is strong and made to mass produce maybe 3 per week just for the fact it would need to cool between each body coming out.

I am also a body shop owner so I was also the one to finesse the plug the mould was made from.

I had the mould made maybe 8-10 years ago but at that time I also had 2 shops, I've been down sizing lately and now looking for early retirement so stuff has to go ...

if you notice that the hood has been cut and lifted approx 2 inches in the front is to utilize a larger fuel tank and I thought it looked better.

The mould is stored in my shop above my spray booth always level and dry.

I asked him for some more pictures of the front since the hood has been raised. In "HIS" opinion it looks better. I'm thinking it might make the front look too thick (from a straight on view).

I'm throwing this out there. How many are interested in a body???

Here is a body he did with the raised hood to fit the larger tank. You can see the square logo area on the center of the hood is now a rectangle to give you an idea how much it was raised, not much and looks nicely done.
Fenders have not been trimmed yet......

Actually the hood looks more like a Manx hood. The center raised area is gone.
Mine for comparison.

Wont make any difference as it doesn't sound like he will sell separately, package deal and if I can't get 7 or 8 interested in a body the idea is dead.
