I bought a '70 ghia and the po had the turn signal holes welded closed because he was going to use pre-'69 round style turn signals. I am just wondering exactly where they should be located. I will be using euro style bumpers if that makes a difference. Thanks

I did the conversion on my '71. If you can still see where the originals were I aligned my signals in the same location as where the old opening is directly under the center of the headlights.

This seemed to look best and was the easiest for me.

Be careful as to which bullets you use. As I recall they changed slightliy over the years. The late sixties version will fit best.

Down from the headlight - where the old opening is (center it on the opening) and yes centered on the headlight.

Ok, didn't take off the light but....

1969, I'm 3rd owner, I KNOW it is 100% original, unmolested.

I Removed the headlamp trim ring and it measures 1 1/8" from the center of the bezel screw hole to the TOP of the chrome bullet housing where it meets the rubber seal. This was an easy to measure exact dimension.

Hope this makes sense and helps you.

Dave
