I'm starting to do headliners in bugs again after several years away from it. I have never been happy with the way the door posts turn out. I'm considering using a foam padding in this area, something that I can shape better than the stock sisal padding. I've seen these guys on TV using a foam that's sandable. Any idea what type of material that is? Does anybody have any other ideas/suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks for that quick reply,

yeah, just straight foam padding would look odd, that's why I was thinking of something I could sand down to have a molded look. I'll check out the local fabric store for some batting as well.
