It's too damn cold out in my garage to do ANY kind of work! I'll be working on a center console for mine as soon as it warms up a bit... Looks liek My buggy won't be on the road this summer...
Can't wait to see your end result! The buggy is coming out Awesome! _________________ ~X-Man~

It is to damn cold in my garage too, I have a 12X20 shed with heat where I do wood working, but now just found out need to have my shoulder fixed and will not be able to do anything for 4-6 months . This buggy will not be on the road this year but I will still be planning on what I can do and buy for it. _________________ 73' Bug

Sorry to hear you are suffering a health setback, I think you'll turn the down time into thinking up some awesome new features. I will miss watching your progress..... You got skills. What the hell, post your ideas.
Maybe I'll brave the cold in my shop this weekend in your honor, been getting real itchy to advance my multi year project, I have a "drvie it under its own power" milestone set for the early summer. Not too ambitious provided I don't get sidetracked or waylaid by important stuff. Again. _________________ Gary

I wanna be just like you when i grows up. I know how you hurt you're shoulder and it was not the repetitive stress of sanding or laying down fiber glass. But it was a repetitive motion. HAHAHA Talk to you soon |

Hopster wheel 15 X 6 front and 17 X 8 rear.
It will be lower when engine is installed.
This is a 4-3/4 back space just makes it

My shoulder is getting better still can't lift things. Yes my son Matt did help lift them, I only put the lugs on.
What do you all think of them. Please be honest I am not too shure of them myself.
I need to get a 4" narrowed beam and smaller tires on the front. If any body has a narrowed beam on there buggy please let me know how it worked out. _________________ 73' Bug

Just recieved my 4" narrowed beam today from king-tuk here on the samba. This beam is well built welds look great, If you are debating on who to go with I would have to say Matt (king-tuk).Look him up in the classifieds.
The tubes are fully welded and clean.
love the look of the adjusters
can't wait to install this thing and suck the wheels under the fenders. _________________ 73' Bug

GREAT work so far dude... my dad is a seasoned fiberglass man, and he was impressed as well... as for the rims, I think they look dope, definitely... and honestly, the ride height looks good too... if anything, I'd roll air shocks so you could roll it comfortably and then weed it for showin' off... |

4" narrowed beam did the trick. Put the wheels under the fenders
