What all will have to be grounded. I know the headlights, taillights, turn signals
.what about the switches. Please show me a list I want to be sure I get them all...

Anything that consumes power has to be grounded to work.

So, if you have lighted switches, they will need grounded to light up. If the switches do not light up, no ground needed, it is a "pass though" situation.

In addition, the fuel tank needs to be ground due to the fuel level sender "makes" a variable ground for the gauge.

The transaxle needs ground because it provides the ground to the starter.

Those turn signals do look pretty sweet Len.

BTW those taillights are the same ones I used on my spoiler. I forgot to get a picture of the back this past weekend but I'll get one tonight and send it to you.

What head lights are you planning on using? I am still undecided.

Tim

I have a set of Laser star lights for on top of the fender and going to get a set of driving lights to put under the hood. Maybe French the lights in the bottom of the hood.
Tim, you wouldn't have an extra set of those taillight pods laying around would you. Laughing

Len,
Sorry I don't have another set of pods but I do still have the molds to make them. Your welcome to use them if you want to.

I like the idea of frenching driving lights in the lower part of the hood. I may see if I can do something similar to that. I may have an issue with clearance though as I also have my battery mounted on the front of my axle beam. I wanted the extra weight low and out front as far as possible.

They were manx style side pods that I trimmed to fit. I think it was Berrien buggy co. I picked them up at Bug out car show.

Do yourself a favor and avoid bondo.
Make your own resin based filler using microballoons or other suitable filler.
Staying with the same resin family will ultimately give you a better result. Most likely the existing tail light pods and repair were done with polyester resin so stick with it.
