Now this is very bad news! I had the pleasure to chat with Guido many times and the privilege to meet him in person at H.O. last year…
Such a shock to hear about this. My condolences to Guido’s family.
Rest in peace Guido.

This is very, very sad news. I knew things were not looking good, but when I last saw Guido at the Vintage Show in Budel with his nice black ’51 split, only six weeks ago, I never realised that this would be his last VW show ever. Goodbye my dear friend…
My thoughts go to his caring wife, his family and friends.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Paul

f#ck!
I last talked to him at the Budel Vintage Show. He told me that doctors had given up on him, and that no one knew how long he still had left with us. Could be 2 weeks, could be 2 years..
Turned out to be 7 weeks.. Too short!
My thoughts are with the ones he left behind.
Rust zacht, Guido. _________________ Insta: @kaiscollectionvt

Thats very sad news. I just want to thank Guido once again for all his help, phone calls and emails etc. He was more than happy to give up his time to help me out with my 48 beetle. We still had a few small parts to sort out but I am indeed very greatful.
My thoughts go out to his family. |

Guido became one of those super helpful people on the other end of an email to me many times. He always went above and beyond to be helpful with whatever questions I had for him. I could tell he was a super good guy. Amazing how we have these friends now that sometimes we never meet, but they are still friends nonetheless....
My prayers are with his family..... _________________ Even my nuts are plated.....
