My poor girls has sat of over two years now and I'm finally getting her back on the road. My problem is I forgot what kind of oil I put in her last, I'm at a loss. If I used synthetic or not, any ideas what I should use now? Thanks.

It doesn't matter if you switch from synthetic to "dino" or back. It used to be a problem in the early days of synthetic but not so any longer.

This topic has been well discussed with the most prominent pages here....

Read it all, follow the links, it could take you hours if not days and then in your complete overload of oil information and various opinions, do what is best for you.

I use Brad Penn 30w in mine. Not so easy to find but worth the search, I order 3 cases at a shot and it's really not all that expensive, The major plus is that it contains the quantity of zinc needed for these old engines to properly lubricate the cam and lifters.
Zinc, while still found in new oils has been greatly reduced in quantity for it doesn't enhance the life of the catalytic converter!
