Yeah, I used to have one like yours. The Fiamma one really maximizes all the available space behind the passenger seat and has big pockets specifically designed for shoes. I had been looking for something like this for a while. The standard shoe organizers have small pockets, my shoes don't really fit well in them but the Fiamma one is just perfect and very well made. I have an upcoming trip to Europe so I will look into getting more of these if I have enough luggage space and family doesn't mind.

| If someone was picking up those Fiamma organizers they could probably bring back a crate and make some money! I'd take on of those shoe organizers if someone was willing to pick one up for me! |

| Lots of great ideas. One thing we carry is a lot of high-end camera gear, which poses a temptation to would-be thieves when sitting out in view. So, we cleaned up and insulated under the seat of our 79 Westy and 86 Westy and store the stuff down there. We added a lock for a little extra security, but out of sight makes us feel a lot better. |

| I'm wondering what people have done with the opening where they took out the stock refridgerator, other than buying a kit from someone. Pictures would be great. Right now we just stack stuff in there willy-nilly. |

My word, some of you guys take soooo much stuff!
Everything we EVER take on a trip fits in the Westy cabinets or on the OEM rooftop luggage tray except for our cooler, firewood, and his and hers duffle bags full of whatever clothes we need for our trip.
Get to camp, pop the top and throw the duffle bags upstairs. Then unstrap the camp chairs, collapsible grey water "bucket", camp table, and maybe the welcome mat from the luggage tray and set those things up. Spin the passenger chair around and voila', totally set up, NO clutter, and I'm drinking beer 15 minutes after pulling into camp.

| I just toss everything into a big pile. When I get to a campsite I open the slider and go for a hike. When I get back I check the pile to see if bears chased away the thieves who were picking thru it. Then I grab anything I need and toss the other stuff into a Goodwill box. |

Back to front:
Storage tray at top of rear hatch: small shovel, spare hats and gloves.
Rear closet: solar shower, 1st aid kit, toiletries, some books, pack hammock, parachord, Frisbee.
Big closet: bedding, curtains, extra fleece jacket.
Rear bin: paper towels, tin foil, Tupperware, trash bags, maybe a cook book and paper plates.
Front bin: food that doesn't need refridgerated, spices.
Floor cabinet: tea/coffee/sports drink mix, wine/whiskey, maybe paperplates or more non-perishable food.
Fridge: pulled it out now it carries bike helmets/shoes/Camelbacks or fishing gear other misc "toys". Leveling blocks and collapsible trash cans.
Drawer: silverware, napkins, potholders, dish soap.
Big cabinet: pots, pans, etc.
Under bench space: spare parts, Bentley and Digifant Pro-manual, shoes, bike lube etc. tool box.
Add a cooler behind the passenger seat, two duffle bags in the back, and chairs/camptable/welcome mat/grey water bucket to luggage rack and we're all set. Simple, really.

| If this has been mentioned then just delete. I've been usung a handy item 4 storage, the lg sq clear peanut jars, lg lids & u can get a lot of stuff inside like rolled socks t shirts etc & see what's in each, they pack tightly too. I hate having to label bags boxes as contents change. |

That was my first thought too! I had a hightop for awhile, and yes it was MUCH easier to hide the clutter.
We put stuff in duffels and move it up top (when popped), but after awhile entropy takes over…..

Any surfers got any shots of interior board storage?
I roll in a tintop and often slide the boards in on the z-bed, but would love to find a way to be able to have teh boards inside and still be able to put the bed back into a seat.

My laptop has twenty or thirty movies loaded on it for evening entertainment... though I have to be honest it is hard to watch a movie/documentary when the stars are shining bright.
After years of camping/backpacking I learned I am happiest with less stuff and less clutter.

Thanks for these lists - I'd suggest the following to help collapse it a bit if anyone so desires (disclaimer - I've just started camping in the Westy, but plenty of backpack time, etc.).
Beer glass = Wine glass = Coffee mug - I have a small brown plastic mug that I like from backpacking. Better is a typical thermo mug for coffee in the AM - beer can be had from the can or bottle or poured into this container once rinsed. Wine - same deal. Of course anniversaries or spouse birthday might require nicer glassware. Just saying |
