I was wondering, has anyone ever experimented with running a second fan inside the housing to cool the left bank of cylinders better? If someone could fabricate a standard fan with a set of teeth, add an idler gear to fit between them, couldn't another fan be put inside the fan shroud? Obviously you'd need another inlet hole in the front of the housing to draw air in, but I think that could be a decent solution.
Any thoughts? Does anyone know if this has been tried?
Thanks...

Easier and better just to install doghouse system. If you have DH system, don't worry about #3.
