I'm probably not giving these things the right name, since I cannot find a listing for them anywhere on the usual parts suppliers' websites. Anyway, where the plastic tips on the radiator engage into the mounting bracket, there are rubber donuts for padding. When I replaced my radiator last time, the originals were rotted, so I made some replacements from heavy duty garden hose material. Since I'm going to have to replace the radiator again after my deer-strike, I thought I'd check and see if anybody knew where to find these. If not, I'll probably either re-use my replacements or make another set from a different material (something a little more cushy, probably).

Eureka!
I forgot to check the other year/tranny categories on Van Cafe, as these do not show up amongst the radiator parts for "1986-1991 Automatic"
THANKS!

You can find the same thing at your local hardware store. Look in the hardware section for rubber washers. I did all 4 of mine for under ~$1. If you can't find the right thickness, you can double up. _________________ 82 Diesel Westy
