I don't know who was who (except Cristy) because, for the most part, they were all voice-overs (not on camera while speaking).
Yes, it's true that no one can know everything about all cars, but if you're trying to do a short history lesson, get it right or don't bother. Most folks not into one particular marque, such as us, knows the difference, anyway, regarding the mistakes. But it's something for us to greps about.
Regarding the bumper swapping, I am not sure which way he was referring - early bumpers on later cars, or vice versa. Evidently, though, stale comprehended it. _________________ “If you care for a thing long enough, it takes on a life of its own, doesn't it? Mecum Auction in Kissimie, 1979 Convertible. Reached 14,500, did not hit reserve. Looked like a nice car. _________________ 1978 Super Beetle convertible

I know it was on eBay for $1M |
It must of been the 009 on the engine that held it back. _________________ Glenn

Ok, so why is this TV star bus only worth $110k, when others (Kindig's fake Samba) sold for way more?? The owner did try really hard to hype it.
Was it really rough, full of bondo, etc? _________________ 1974 914 2.0 Phoenix Red - resto project - For Sale

my guess would be one is a novelty on a tv show and the other was built by a "high end car designer" this is just my thought on it though
I put high end in quotes only because people will have varying differences on it _________________ Cruiser pedals for sale (see my ad's)

Auction randomness?
Same thing has happened in the past with a bunch of 21 and 23-Windows, selling for more or less than expected.
Or from what I have seen of TV/Movie vehicles in the past, it was possibly a pile of crap under a shiny paint job that looked good for the cameras. _________________ How to Post Photos

Tickets are now available for BJ Northeast. They went down on price big time for 4 day passes but there is a “warning” that they may up the price at any time.
So far one Bug listed with a GM motor but not even listing lot numbers yet. |

Not Barrett Jackson, but I’m watching the live Mecum auction and a 1959 23 window just sold for $140,000 _________________ 2015 VW Passat Wolfsburg Edition

Yep that was the one. I didn’t see the 21 window cross the block so I don’t know what that one sold for.
Really tempted to sell my ‘66 bug at Mecum or BJ once I get it sorted to see what happens. _________________ 2015 VW Passat Wolfsburg Edition
