The interior isnt the best aspect, but heres a shot of the cargo floor.
More to come
I just finished up this afternoon/evenings work.
The paint store was a little slow. I disassembled all the brakes cleaned, painted etc. With my dads help of course. Same with the motor. Started replacing the complete brake system. Should be done tomorrow.
I also broke down the original wheels, they had been repainted once, so I sandblasted them and will put them in a nice semi-gloss epoxy primer.
Should spray those tomorrow. My L82 match is perfect!!!!
Our goal is to drive it to our local Ratrod show this weekend.???? The clock is ticking and we cant rush anything. _________________ 4 cylinders of smiles.. |

Nice find. They don't get much better than that.
Congrats. With your resources, I am sure the paint will stay in top condition. |

Exactly! You mention you sell this- and it appears easier than CLR- do tell.
Also- I'm quite glad you set up your own thread- this is reference-level stuff you're photographing- keep up the good work. _________________

Thanks for the comments.
Just finished up for the night. Have the motor back in, but ran out of fuel line so we wont fire it up till tomorrow.
The cleaner is kind of a blend so when I get it right I'll let you know.
There is a cool bare metal wax Im using afterwards as well. Havent applied that yet.
I have to take some pictures tomorrow of the A/C unit as well. I am missing the pump but the rest is there.
Nevermind Heres a few
It tucks in under the front seat tool area? _________________ 4 cylinders of smiles.. |

We drove it yesterday!!!! After 20 years its driving again.
I will post some more pictures tomorrow.
The motor is real strong. The brakes are great now having been completely redone.
Now we just have to clean it up a bit more and its crusing time.... _________________ 4 cylinders of smiles.. |

That cargo floor looks trashed! You should strip it and throw some bedliner spray down!!
(just kiddin' - that bus is amazing!)

Unbelievable
That's as nice as anyone can ever expect to FIND a bus.
That A/C setup is pretty slick... dash stays clean, and the back of your knees keep cool.
If I had to do a/c, that's probably how I would hide it. I guess there are some holes for the ac lines in the tool compartment, wonder how well they are protected from rust. _________________

Here's where it went up. One hole very clean, had a rubber plug around it.
This a pre-detailed photo.
