Here is my wifes '67 Java green convertible with gazelle interior. I think this is one of the best color combinations that VW made Smile

Picked this '66 up as a keeper/future build one day. Java green Beetle has been on my list for awhile. So I'm glad to have found one.missing passenger door though

I’m new, and I’m going to buy a ‘63 beetle,of course java green..it’s built in August ‘63 so it should be a model year ‘64. I thought that also this paint born for model year ‘64. So it is a nice new ti discover one with little nose (narrow license plate light).
Probably you already discussed this, but could anyone confirm they exist and are original? This one seems to be. Thanks all.

Se ti capisco il tuo inglese correttamente, la luce di matricula è chiamata "naso di Papa," "Pope nose" che è da 58-63.

Java Green is a color for 64-67 according to the color charts on the site.

I think the guy above painted his '63 Java Green because he liked it?

Thanks both.
I know that the little license plate light has been produced till model year 1963. So,this item and the java green paint should have never met...question was to understand if anyone knows that exist some exceptions.
But EverettB probably gave me the answer: “no, the bug has been repainted” or viceversa if younger,they installed the “little nose “ on a original paint java green.....probably this is what I’ll do if I buy it.

6sixTinBox anche noi lo chiamiamo cosí o semplicemente “nasino”..mi sarebbe piaciuto scoprire esistesse qualche raro caso in cui luce targa stretta e pitturazione java green fossero usciti assieme dalla fabbrica..un’eccezione insomma. Ho sentito di casi in cui certe volte la fabbrica montava quello che aveva anche se non esattamente di quell’anno.
