'63 Panel Camper to Deluxe conversion project

ok. don't laugh. this is the first time I've tig welded a body panel on.

it finally looks right... on one side at least!

I don't regret tig welding for this one, but I don't think I'll do it again any time soon. Its just too darn slow a process. Mostly because of my inexperience . I can tig weld on the bench great, but this is a whole different ball game. I contaminated my tungsten many times and on top of that the process is just slow. I had a bunch of burn through which I had to fix. I ended up just mig welding some of the holes and that was sooooo much faster and easier. i'll say this though, the cleanup is much faster than with mig. mig is quick and dirty.

doing the inner front skylights. I used panel adhesive around the window rim since its a pain in the butt to spot weld there.

I vote for single color. Dove blue would look great.

I never cared much for 23/21 window busses until I saw some single color ones and discovered I just don't like two tone busses. Haha
