I had the same reaction when I saw that this morning. I think it's a matter of loving the idea, but not so keen on the execution. _________________ "Sometimes you have to build a box to think outside of." - Bruce (not Springsteen)

I don't know about that but, I think a power washer and a bit of paint would make it a bad ass off road camper. _________________ 1990 Wolfsburg Carat with new poptop.

I don't remember what the base is, but it's actually been repainted, I saw it on the interwebs . Pretty sure it's blue now.
The base is some kind of Unimog or Volvo, some big ass Merco truck. Something like that. _________________ Silicone Steering Boots and 930 Cv boots for sale in the classifieds.

My guess is a Karmann Gypsy on a Unimog chassis with Land Rover head lights.
The triple VW grills are a nice touch too... _________________ 1990 Feldjäger Syncro AAZ

Pretty sure that's a 404 Unimog under there. I kinda like the LR headlight treatment. _________________ Casey--

Right now it is an Unimuck!
Unimogs are great vehicles. Lurssen Yachts in Germany use one to haul the boats out of the sheds. We weighed 280 tonnes and it lifted the right front wheel when it started, but it pulled it out without a problem. _________________ This free advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.

I'm kinda wondering how those little fabric hold downs are going to do in case of accident? Things could get all "Top Gear" in a hurry. _________________ '84 Vanagon GL 1.9 WBX

Where do you suppose your feet go when you drive that? Looks like the pedals need to be somewhere in the middle..... _________________ 89 Tristar Syncro Doka - White
