I had the same reaction when I saw that this morning. I think it's a matter of loving the idea, but not so keen on the execution.

I don't know about that but, I think a power washer and a bit of paint would make it a bad ass off road camper. Very Happy

I don't remember what the base is, but it's actually been repainted, I saw it on the interwebs . Pretty sure it's blue now.

The base is some kind of Unimog or Volvo, some big ass Merco truck. Something like that.

My guess is a Karmann Gypsy on a Unimog chassis with Land Rover head lights.

Right now it is an Unimuck!

Unimogs are great vehicles. Lurssen Yachts in Germany use one to haul the boats out of the sheds. We weighed 280 tonnes and it lifted the right front wheel when it started, but it pulled it out without a problem.

Where do you suppose your feet go when you drive that? Looks like the pedals need to be somewhere in the middle.....
