The checkerboard Syncro is still for sale and use to be an airport vehicle. Interesting Westy-type top. Double locker for 8,000Euro, but has some rust issues.

Had too many middle seats. I liked it but my wife not so much. Even welded in the worm from a factory jack with the handle up front for reclining. Wink

So you turn the crank to adjust the back? That's very cool!

Did these seats have otherwise adjustment backs originally? (Sorry I've only owned a westy!)

I had the middle bench from a Bay van on the front stoop of my old bachelor pad many years ago.

I wonder what the benefit of that top is? You can sleep with the head facing the rear?

I always feel a twinge of pain when our friendly, non judgmental vans are modified and twisted to serve the yoga industrial complex.

.
This belongs on the Page of Awesome (if we had one), not the Wall of Shame!

Given where you are, I'd add seat heaters to the rig.

This is a Westfalia Bahamas roof, it was an aftermarket kit, the bed is folded up in the step far back, which to my opinion is ugly Laughing
The other kit was called Mosaik, flat like the original factory installed roof, but very thin bed bc of the curvature of the tin roof, folding in 3 sections of planks if I remember correctly.

You are not kidding . I feel bad for Chris though as he has Taos on one side of him and Los Alamos Labs on the other. No matter what goes down when the SHTF he will caught in the crossfire .
