Never seen adobe used on one of these…I would have thought it would be in New Mexico, unless there is a Springfield there too (most states seem to have one). _________________ Currently -> Frida: 87 Tizian Red (mostly) Vanagon GL Westfalia w/ 2.0L ABA conversion

I can only suggest this missing line:

Have you ever wanted to build a Mad Max style vehicle? Now is your chance. The body is complete. Just paint
and add your own drive train. A mid 90's Buick front wheel drive displaced to the rear of this bus would be a
great combination. Gray and black paint applied by brush or hand would give it the correct look.
Tires are good and ready to roll.
Check out the pics.
You must see this in person to appreciate the work that has already been completed. Max would be proud.
Rain gutter front bumper. What a great imagination.
If this was repainted with some shadowing it would really pull the detail out of this body.
Conduit running from the top down the front drip rail is a great touch. Turn signal placement is right on.
Side bracing has already been added.
What beautiful rivet and sheet metal work in Mad Max style.
Every area of this body had been modified in the Mad Max style.
Are you starting to get the image? Feeling inspired? |
Ummmm...no.

That totally needed "preserving" - thanks Dave.
I think.

Whatever the the license plate reads, I certainly don't want to get close. It looks infected. |

More shame
It's a van not a bus.
The Vette is cool, but everything else is a little too much.
I know the relic look is in, but some owners suffer from patina maximus. Bonus points for the poker player visor.
Mix-n-match interior. Zebra and cow prints with checkered flag and wood paneling.
This one might be a good idea for a canopy. Maybe try this on a regular van for a tintop-hightop.

I assume that has legs that bolt to the bed so you can still open the side gates. Wonder what they did with the hatch. Nifty execution of a unique idea. _________________ Casey--

This is really not shame-able, but I didn't know where to put this picture. Anyway, the more I look at it, the more I'd like to see this applied to a regular van for a tintop-hightop. You'll need to figure out the rear hatch situation and I think you could use a taller slider door from a German postal Vanagon. Also smaller windows would have to be made for the "upper deck" transplant. |
