The triple VW grills are a nice touch too...

Those would be first generation Range Rover headlamp assemblies, no?

This one has been for sale for a while in the area but I just noticed this photo.

VW Vanagon GL - $4000 (Moyock, NC)

1989 vw vanagon gl

condition: good
cylinders: 4 cylinders
drive: fwd
fuel: gas
odometer: 170000
paint color: white
title status: clean
transmission: manual
type: van

Recently refurbished engine and new computer module. I had recently purchased this vehicle with the intent of complete restoration but lack the space/time for doing so. Currently not drivable, I no longer have the knowledge/ funds to solve the problem but before was overall very reliable, daily driver. Very dark tint great for camping in "will pass inspection" comes with racks/cage

It's the perfect zombie apocalypse van, even brainless zombies would mumble "no way there's anyone alive in there!"

Maybe I'm weird, but I'd buy it in a minute. (Where was it seen by the photographer-- Europe?) Waaay more space in there than in a Westy; I could sell my house and live anywhere. Anyone know if it started out as a van or a single cab?

Or a camper trailer and a cab of a single cab

Same here! Definitely worth the time to invest if you have a purpose for it.
