I think it's a decent idea provided it was attached in a way that both looks decent and doesn't leak. I saw a pop top once where someone did the same thing with clear plexiglass.

Doesn't that belong to a Samba member (maybe not currently)? There was a travelling artist that traded art for van work on here for a while. I think he cut teeth into his grill.

Just the size of that pipe and threaded cap is impressive!

says its unstoppable on skis...(I wondered how it tracked)...could be super fun for someone in the boonies! back country skiing? if it was in the states, I might look at it....just the rear track contraction is awesome!

Not a Vanagon, but so shameful it has to be shown both as a caution and as a shame benchmark.
